The Human Torch and Quicksilver battle each other, and a maddening new menace, in the land of the uncanny Inhumans! Will Human Torch be accepted by Crystal’s family?

Jonny finally gets to his ol' sweetheart Crystal, only to find her in the arms of Pietro Maximoff, a.k.a. Quicksilver. The two hotspurs don't lose much time before they start going for each other's throat, but they are quickly interrupted by a threat bigger than their jealousy. The Alpha-Primitives, the slaves of the Inhumans, are revolting (again). And, even worse, they have captured Crystal and brought her into their lair down in the mountains. Since non of the Inhumans can help them, Pietro and Jonny have to face the fact that they need to work together to save their loved one.
